Every item we make—whether it’s a hoodie, a lamp, or a replica bone—is part of a bigger effort to reimagine how things are made. Circular, clean, and designed with purpose.
What we stand for
1. Recycled Materials
We use post-industrial recycled PETG (the same plastic found in water bottles and food trays) to print everything from lamps to whale bones.
2. Zero Mold, Zero Waste
3D printing allows us to avoid the material waste of subtractive processes—no foam blocks, no carving, no single-use molds.
3. Low-Impact Apparel
Made with 100% organic cotton and GRS-certified recycled polyester (for sweaters), each piece is GOTS certified—ensuring not just low-impact materials, but also ethical working conditions and fair labor practices.
Printed locally in Santa Cruz, we take pride in supporting local businesses—not only for the quality and durability they deliver, but for the opportunity to celebrate the craftsmanship within our own community.
4. Circular Thinking
We design for long life, reuse, and recyclability—whether it’s a printed core or a display piece. And we’re constantly working to close the loop further.
Why it matters
Most manufacturing is opaque and wasteful. We started Swellcycle to prove that building better objects—at any scale—doesn’t have to come at the planet’s expense.
