Return & Refund Policy

Built With Intention. Made to Order.

Most SwellCycle surfboards are built specifically for you — often printed and laminated after your order is placed.

Because of the custom nature of our boards, returns are limited. Please review the details below before purchasing.

Surfboards

Custom & Made-to-Order Boards

All custom boards and made-to-order boards are final sale once production begins.

Production typically begins shortly after order confirmation. Once printing has started, orders cannot be canceled or refunded.

Stock Boards (If Applicable)

If you purchase a board that is marked as in-stock, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery, provided:

  • The board is unused

  • The board is in original condition

  • There is no wax, pressure dents, or damage

  • The board has not been surfed

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Shipping Damage

If your board arrives damaged:

  1. Take photos immediately (box + board).

  2. Email us at info@rideswellcycle.com within 48 hours.

  3. Keep all packaging materials.

We use specialized, sustainable surfboard packaging and have not experienced shipping failures to date — but if something happens, we’ll work with you and the carrier to resolve it.

Demo Boards & Used Boards

Demo boards and used boards are sold as-is and are final sale.

Digital Products & Courses

All digital products and Shape3D courses are non-refundable once access has been granted.

If you experience technical issues accessing a course, contact us and we’ll help.

Refund Processing

If a return is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

  • Please allow 5–10 business days for processing after we receive the item.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
If eligible, you may return an approved item and place a new order.
