Every Swellcycle board is carefully packaged and shipped with protection in mind. Because surfboards are oversized items, shipping requires special handling and coordination.

2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Surfboards are shipped via third-party freight carriers specializing in oversized items.
Once your board leaves our facility:

4. Risk of Loss & Title Transfer
All surfboard shipments are considered FOB shipping point.
This means:

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the Customer when the board is loaded onto the carrier’s transport vehicle.

The carrier insures the shipment during transit.
If damage occurs during shipping, please follow the instructions below.
5. Shipping Damage Procedure
Although we use specialized sustainable surfboard packaging and have not experienced routine shipping failures, damage can occur during transit.
If your board arrives damaged:

Inspect the box before signing (if applicable).

Retain all packaging materials.
Failure to notify us within 48 hours may impact insurance claims.
We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue.
6. Local Pickup (Santa Cruz)
Customers may choose local pickup in Santa Cruz, California.
You will be notified when your board is ready.
Boards must be picked up within one week of notification unless otherwise arranged.
7. International Shipping
For international orders:
